At The Sewcial Box, creativity comes to life one stitch at a time!
Our Afterschool Sewing Program is a hands-on, curriculum-based program designed to help kids build confidence, creativity, and real sewing skills in a fun, welcoming environment. Whether your child is brand new to sewing or already experienced, our multi-level program grows alongside them.
Students work through engaging projects while learning:
- Sewing machine skills & safety
- Garment sewing
- Patchwork & quilting
- Bag making
- Embroidery & appliqué
- Fabric selection & terminology
- Creative problem-solving & design skills
Each 6-week session includes guided instruction, personalized support, and exciting projects that keep students inspired and challenged as they progress through the program.

We proudly incorporate both the Sewciety Kids® and Kids Can Sew® curricula to create a well-rounded learning experience tailored to each student’s age, comprehension, and skill level.
Students typically complete:
- One functional/decorative project
- One wearable or garment-based project
…all while building lifelong creative skills along the way.
Important Information
- Beginner Workshop is required prior to enrollment
- Students should bring their sewing tools weekly
- Tool kits are available for purchase
- Sessions run year-round in 6-week increments
- Auto-pay enrollment is recommended to secure preferred class times

Class Registration Policy Class registrations are non-refundable. Cancellation requests submitted at least 7 days prior to class may be eligible for store credit at the discretion of The Sewcial Box. Cancellations made less than 7 days before class are not eligible for store credit, transfer, refund, or rescheduling.
