Afterschool Sewing Program

AFTERSCHOOL SEWING PROGRAM
Ages 9+ | Beginner to Advanced
Create. Stitch. Build Confidence.
At The Sewcial Box, we believe sewing is more than a skill—it's an opportunity to build confidence, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and lifelong friendships.
Our Afterschool Sewing Program is designed for students who want to develop real sewing skills in a fun, supportive, and creative learning environment. Whether your child is brand new to sewing or continuing their sewing journey, our structured curriculum grows alongside them, helping students build confidence while progressing through increasingly advanced projects and techniques.
CURRICULUM & SKILLS
The Sewcial Box is licensed to teach both the Sewciety Kids® and Kids Can Sew® curricula, allowing us to provide a well-rounded educational experience tailored to each student's age, skill level, and learning style.
Throughout the program, students explore a wide variety of sewing techniques and project types, including:
• Garment Sewing
• Bag Making
• Patchwork & Quilting
• Embroidery
• Appliqué
• Home Décor Projects
• Fabric Selection & Project Planning
• Sewing Machine Skills & Maintenance
Students progress through curriculum levels at their own pace while building skills through hands-on, project-based learning. As skills develop, students gain independence, creativity, and confidence both in and beyond the sewing room.
