BEGLA101 - Intro to Longarming (FMQ)
Our beginner LA (Longarm) class is designed to give you - a new longarm quilter - the foundation of knowledge needed to start quilting with confidence.
You will learn all about:
- Thread, needles, batting, and backing fabric choices
- Multiple ways to load a quilt on the frame
- Machine operation and safety
- Adjusting and balancing thread tension
- Basic quilting techniques
- Marking tools and methods
- Machine care and maintenance
- Troubleshooting common issues
- And so much more!
Tuition is $150.
Class duration is 5 hours (lunch is served).
